TargetRadar provides an acquisition target screening tool that scores Austrian companies on exit-readiness using publicly disclosed Firmenbuch filings. This Privacy Policy covers data processing related to website operation and contact requests.

Source data disclaimer: TargetRadar processes publicly available company filings from the Austrian commercial register (Firmenbuch) and licensed partner sources. We do not collect, scrape, or process insider or non-public information. Scores derived from this data are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute investment advice.

4. Categories of personal data processed

Website access (server logs)

  • IP address, timestamp, browser type, operating system
  • Used for security, debugging, and operational stability
  • Logs are retained only as long as necessary and are not used for profiling

Contact requests

  • Name, email address, message content when you contact us by email
  • Used solely to respond to your enquiry
  • Retained for as long as necessary to handle your request and for any required follow-up

Firmenbuch and licensed company data

  • Company filings, signatory names, ownership records and similar data published in the Austrian commercial register
  • Processed solely to compute and display scores within the TargetRadar service
  • This is public-record data that companies are legally required to disclose

5. Purposes and legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)

Operating the website: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in providing a stable service.

Responding to contact requests: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, performance of pre-contractual measures at your request.

Processing Firmenbuch data: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in evaluating publicly disclosed business information.

Security and fraud prevention: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in protecting the service.

6. Hosting and infrastructure

Our website and processing infrastructure are hosted on Microsoft Azure with servers located in the European Union. We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Microsoft in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Cookies

The static marketing pages of www.targetradar.eu do not set tracking or analytics cookies. The product dashboard (separate application, available on request) may use essential cookies for authentication and session management. You will be informed and asked for consent for any non-essential cookies before they are set.

8. Email communication

  • If you contact us by email, your message is processed only to handle your enquiry
  • We do not send newsletters or marketing emails
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

9. Data transfers outside the EU/EEA

Where external service providers process data in countries outside the EU/EEA, data transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under Art. 46 GDPR and additional security and encryption measures.
